council met in regular session on Monday, August 27, 2007.
Mayor Carl Erickson Jr. called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
All councilmen were present. Also
present were City Attorney
Rick Kimble
and some residents.
Motion by

, second by Skog to approve the agenda; all voted aye, no nayes, motion carried.

to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as printed; all voted aye, no

There were many concerned citizens on a building permit
issuance in town for a grain bin to be erected on a piece of property that is
zoned industrial. The citizens after
much discussion chose to pay for an administrative appeal which will go to the
board of adjustments for review. A
public hearing for this will be set up.
The AC Lions club wishes to put a town bulletin board.
They have raised some funds towards it but will need help some more
financial help to purchase it. They
will be see if the chamber would go in 1/3 along with the city and the lions
club.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at
9:12 PM.
